Safety
Safety is a priority at Total Insulation.
Not only do we take every step to ensure that safety is a priority while we are working on a project, we also make sure that all of our work increases the safety of the mechanical application for years to come.
We practice best practices in safety to ensure the well-being of all workers and to provide a quality product that will continue to remain safe and function at a high level. As an investment in the importance of safety, we have established a Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction (AWAIR) program.
The Total Insulation AWAIR program is based on the premise that every employee is entitled to a safe and healthful work environment. Our AWAIR program is designed specifically for the protection of our employees and visitors. Management and all employees are directed to make safety and loss prevention a top priority.
We believe every employee is concerned for his or her own safety and the safety of coworkers and will recognize that these rules and policies set are for their protection. The goals we have set for our AWAIR Program are achieved through a cooperative effort among all employees and management. Safe work habits and the awareness and knowledge of all safety rules and policies are a condition of employment at Total Insulation, Inc. All employees are required to attend training to become familiar with rules and policies and to abide by them. These rules and policies are enforced just as any other company policy.
We also encourage all employees to make suggestions that will assist in maintaining safe work conditions and ask they bring these suggestions to their supervisor's attention. It is through this joint participation that accidents are prevented.
We have also developed a series of training sessions known as toolbox talks to encourage safety on the job site. A toolbox talk is an informal group discussion among employees that focues on a particular safety issue. Listed below are some of our toolbox topics.
· Spotters
· Suspended Loads
· Weather
· The Right Boot for the Job

· Temporary Stair Railings & Guard Rails
